Series 4- Diary

So it's another blog series where I try and link some photos to a theme! This month I decided to chose the topic Diary, at first I went with the idea of photo series, showing each part of the day through photos. However when I thought of what a dairy really is and the uses it has, it came to me that many people use them as emotional outlets, so I took on the idea of emotions shown through photos. Its so easy to show an emotion in a photo by the setting, lighting, tone in photo etc. But how easy is it to not show an emotion? I wanted to test this out and let the audience chose the mood, tone and feeling begin portrayed in the images! likewise I aim to create work on this blog that is different to the day to day photos I produce, therefore these two sets of photos I took I centred round having no reason/ without an emotion. Consequently leaving the audience with there own narrative and emotion they can pair with the photo!
