Series 2- MEANING

Meaning

Hey, welcome to series 2 of my random blog series, I have been choosing different topics to work on over the year as min project and this theme I pulled out was "Meaning"!

When I first looked at this one I was tempted to put it back in the pile and chose a different one, however I wanted to think more about it, and I wanted to do something that would portray meaning in the photographs.

I'm currently studying a digital art course at college and our briefing on the time I was working on this min project was all about social action and making a campaign project, so I wanted to link these both together! I started off by contacting the charity StandTall, which is a charity that helps women and girls who are experiencing abuse/bullying to quickly and anonymously access the support they need! I then went out with a model to take some photos that all fitted round this narrative and would have a meaningfully purpose to them!

I shot theses photos on the Canon 1100D and changing between the 50mm pancake lens and the 18mm-55mm lens.
